I was born and raised in Austria (1959) and settled in The Netherlands in 1992. Nature is my passion. This love affair with the natural world led me to the southwest of the United States of America.

From 1979 until 1992 I lived and worked in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. The overwhelming natural beauty in combination with my natural inquisitiveness have had a lasting impact on my life.
